Social Welfare and Cultural Research Foundation (SWCRF) was born in 2002. Registered under Societies Registration Act 1860, under FCRA 1976, with present validity period up to 2022, and under 12 A and 80 G of the Income Tax Act., it is a non-profit NGO actively working at present with poor and tribal communities of Odisha.

The present focus of SWCRF is to work with rural poor, women, small farmers, farm workers and wage labourers for their economic uplift. The organization also intends to promote education and literacy among children in conformity with Right to Education Act 2009 and to do anything in its capacity for protection of the rights of children.
